Terms of Use and Privacy Notice

Effective September 5, 2026. Applies to sursurpicklehub.ph and everything served from it.

1. Who we are

SurSur Pickle Hub ("SurSur", "we", "us") is a web platform based in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur, Philippines, where pickleball court owners list their courts for booking and clubs run open play sessions and tournaments. Courts and clubs on the platform are independent businesses and communities. Their names, logos, and pages belong to them.

2. Using the platform

By using the site you agree to these terms. You agree to:

• give accurate details when you book a court, apply to a session, or list a court or club;
• honour the bookings and sessions you commit to, and the rules the court or club sets for them;
• not use the site to harass anyone, post unlawful content, or interfere with other users;
• not attempt to access accounts, data, or areas of the site that are not yours.

3. Bookings, payments, and sessions

A booking or session application is a request to the court or club, who decides whether to accept it. Payments for bookings and sessions are made directly to the court owner or club, to the e-wallet or account they specify. SurSur does not collect, hold, or process those payments. The payment screenshot you attach is shared with that court or club so they can confirm it. Reference codes, confirmations, cancellations, and refunds are between you and the court or club; SurSur provides the tools, not the service on the court.

Match results, standings, brackets, and leaderboards are recorded by the club running the session. SurSur shows what was recorded and gives clubs the means to correct mistakes.

4. What belongs to us

The platform, its design, layout, text, graphics, code, the way its booking, open play queue, matchmaking, draw, group and bracket systems work, and everything else that makes up the site is the property of SurSur Pickle Hub and is protected by Philippine copyright law (Republic Act No. 8293, the Intellectual Property Code) and international treaties. All rights reserved.

You may not, without our written permission:

• copy, reproduce, mirror, or republish the site or any substantial part of its pages, text, or design;
• scrape, crawl, or harvest content or data from the site by automated means beyond ordinary search-engine indexing;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the platform's underlying logic, algorithms, or source;
• use the SurSur Pickle Hub name, logo, tagline, or look and feel in a way that suggests a connection with us;
• build a competing product by copying this one.

Court and club names, logos, and photos on the site belong to their owners and are shown with their permission for the purpose of listing them here.

5. Accuracy and availability

Court availability, prices, hours, and session details are entered by the courts and clubs themselves. We work to keep the site accurate and online, but we cannot promise that every listing is current or that the service will be available at every moment. To the fullest extent the law allows, SurSur is not liable for losses arising from a booking, a session, a listing, or an interruption of the service.

6. Privacy notice

This section is our privacy notice under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

What we collect.

• When you book a court: your name, email, phone number, the payment screenshot you attach, and an optional Facebook name for reschedules.
• When you apply to a session: your name, contact details, payment method and screenshot, and optionally your DUPR details if you choose to give them.
• When you play: the match results, scores, check-ins, and standings the club records during the session.
• When you list a court or club: your business details, contact details, logo and photos, payment options, and login credentials.
• Automatically: basic, non-identifying usage analytics so we can see which pages are used.

Why we use it. To run the booking or session you asked for, to let the court or club confirm and contact you, to show live and final results, to send booking and session emails, and to keep the platform working and secure. We do not sell personal information.

Who sees it. The court or club you booked or applied with sees the details you gave them, including the payment screenshot. Player names, scores, and standings appear on that session's public live and results pages, which is the point of a shared scoreboard; if you do not want your name shown, ask the club to check you in under a nickname. Our hosting, database, and email providers process data on our behalf; some of those servers are outside the Philippines.

How long we keep it. Bookings, session records, and results are kept so that history, leaderboards, and references keep working. Payment screenshots are kept only as long as needed to confirm the booking or session and resolve disputes.

Your rights. You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how it is used, subject to the law. Use the feedback form and we will respond.

Cookies and measurement. The site sets a login cookie for court, club, and staff accounts. On public pages we also use the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure our own advertising, so we can tell how many people arrived from an ad and whether they went on to list a court or a club. It records the pages visited, not anything you type into a form, and we do not use it to target you for other advertisers. If you would rather not be measured, your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker stops it, and nothing on the site stops working.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the platform grows; the effective date above will change when we do. Questions go through the feedback form. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
